Chris and I are both Southern California natives.  We met through match.com and got married on September 25, 1999 -- a year and four days after our first date. He's my best friend. 

We moved to Texas in September 2005 when Chris got a job in the Richardson office.  We lived in Rowlett first, but now we live at the end of the earth in Josephine/Nevada.  LOL!

Se started trying for children in July 2000. We've been through one failed IVF three failed IUIs, and three failed rounds of Clomid. We have been spontaneously pregnant twice and miscarried both.

After a scrapped Chinese adoption we are foster/adopt parents. We got our first foster placement on November 2, 2007.

Dimples is our third placement and in our She's 27 days younger than Pumpkin. She was in foster placement already and needed a forever home. What an honor to be chosen for that! She has a dimple, so I call her Dimples.  We adopted her on November 21, 2009, National Adoption Day.

Pumpkin was our first placement and was with us from November 2, 2007 until October 10, 2008. She came to us when she was 11 days old and left just 11 days shy of her first birthday. Pumpkin was the most amazing child. She is so smart and so advanced. She hit all her milestones early. Losing her was harder than anything relating to TTC.

Gemini came to us on December 14, 2007 when she was 21 months old. While she was here we celebrated her second birthday with cake and lots of presents and her eczema cleared up. When she was in her good self she was the most delightful and smart girl. She went to a new home on April 15, 2008, when she was 25 months.

Sweetpea was born on June 20, 2009.  She came to us just shortly after midnight on June 26.  She was returned to her mama on June 28 because the judge didn't approve the removal.

Giggles was born July 6, 2009.  She joined our home on November 23.  She's precious and smiles a lot.  She left March 26, 2010.

Pumpkin came back on March 29, 2010.  That poor child was absolutely broken.  Since she was going to be returned home AGAIN, we couldn't take the emotional hit and Jessie was regressing so we had her removed April 9.

Wiggles came to us on June 15, 2010.  She turned one on June 19.  She went to family on June 21.

We have three cats -- Whiskers, black and white tuxedo-colored American shorthair; Turtle and Tori both tortoiseshell Calico.
